Strawberry Wine Slushie

I know, I know…some of you might think it’s sacrilege to combine the words wine and slushie, but just hear me out a sec.
These drinks are super fun! The perfect libation for a girl’s night or even something sweet to drink while you’re lounging poolside on the weekend.
It combines fresh, sweet California strawberries and the perfect California white wine. I used Sauvignon Blanc (because I’m into it right now), but use any of the versatile whites that California has to offer. We certainly aren’t lacking in that department!
Smooth and refreshing, I’m certain this will be your new fave for the summer!
Let me show ya how it’s done!
Remove the stems from the strawberries. I have this super easy tool that I use to remove the stems, but you can also just cut them off. The corer works great on tomatoes too!
Thoroughly rinse the strawberries to remove any residue or stray leaves.
Place the strawberries on a baking sheet making sure to not overcrowd. Place in freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Choose the perfect white wine!
Once the strawberries are frozen, place in a blender along with the sugar and wine and puree until smooth.
Pour directly into individual glasses and enjoy!
This recipe makes 6 generous servings!
Are you ready for summer?
